Bindi Dholakia

Bindi is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Registered Psychologist with extensive consultancy experience in fair selection, inclusion and unconscious bias and leadership development. She is Director of Fairway Group and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.

Bindi started her early career at CSA Management Consultants, after which she joined Pearn Kandola, based in Oxford. She decided to freelance after six years there and then established Fairway Group in 2010. She has now over 24 years consultancy experience in the field of business psychology.

Bindi has a wealth of international experience which includes job analysis, designing competency frameworks, assessing and selecting people at all levels, designing assessment exercises, development centre design and facilitation, and diversity/dignity at work training. She is viewed as a highly effective facilitator and trainer, particularly in the areas of fair selection, unconscious bias and inclusion. Her style is thorough yet pragmatic in order to develop the best solutions for the needs of her clients.

Bindi has spoken at numerous events and published various papers on managing diversity and is co-author of the ‘Graduate Training Manual’.
Stephen Smith

Stephen is a highly experienced HR Director with more than 40 years’ experience in a FTSE 10 financial services company before retiring in 2016. He now works as an associate of Fairway Group concentrating on his particular areas of expertise.

Stephen worked across all areas of HR in Lloyds Banking Group, including a four year spell in Brazil as a HR Manager. He speaks Portuguese fluently. He played lead roles in the mergers of Lloyds with TSB and subsequently when Lloyds acquired HBOS, taking responsibility for many of the people workstreams. He has mentored colleagues of all levels of seniority with the objective of ensuring that they understand and work towards reaching their potential. He continues to support many past colleagues, many of whom have moved on to other companies. 

Stephen’s style is straightforward and strictly non-hierarchical taking care to show the questions that need to be considered rather than just giving his own answers.
Nicole Banerji
CPsychol, AFBPS

Nicole is a Chartered Psychologist and a HCPC Registered Occupational Psychologist who works across all aspects of diversity, development and assessment, working in partnership with organisations to help them capitalise on the strengths and talents of their people. In recent years her assessment work has focused on Board Level appointments, with a special interest in the health and third sectors.

Nicole has over 30 years of consultancy experience working with all types of organisations on all kinds of people issues. She is flexible, adapting her skills to find solutions that embody best practice whilst being workable and relevant to the realities of the culture. Prior to working independently she was a managing psychologist with a leading occupational psychology practice in which she headed up the Manchester Office. She has a wealth of experience which includes: diversity and culture audits; skills training; workshop facilitation; job and competency analysis; assessment exercise design; in-depth personality assessments; development centres; 360 feedback; team development; career support and coaching.

Nicole has contributed to a range of reference tools for psychologists and HR professionals including: the Managing Diversity Toolkit (CIPD); and Review of Level B Tests (BPS). She continues to review assessment tools for the BPS to ensure that they are in line with best practice. She is a founding member of the Fairway Group and continues to work with them on an associate basis.
Andrew Wakelin

Andrew is a senior equality, diversity & inclusion practitioner with extensive experience within the profession. Over the last 25 years, this has included research, analysis, strategy development, and the direction and implementation of diversity change management programmes. Much of his current work focusses on the scientific analysis of equality and diversity data and he has undertaken a considerable amount of work around equal pay, employee engagement surveys, predictive HR analytics, and diversity metrics and dashboards. Andrew also has particular interests in positive action training and regularly provides career coaching on these types of programme. 

Before joining the Fairway team, Andrew was the senior diversity and inclusion manager for Lloyds Banking Group and whilst in that role, Lloyds achieved the number one position in every major diversity benchmark in the UK. Andrew is renowned for his clear focus, always operating with complete integrity and a strong reputation for delivering successful projects on time and within budget. He is passionate about getting the best out of people and has led teams, acted as a mentor and coached colleagues for over 25 years.
Karen Tidswell

Karen is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, CHPC Registered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the BPS, Association of Coaching Accredited Coach and ISCP Accredited Coach.
 
Karen has been an independent consultant for over twenty years working on diverse selection and development projects for public and private sector organisations and charities. Previous work experience included over nine years working in BT in a wide range of occupational psychology areas such as Selection and Assessment; Training and Development; Human Resources Research and Policy Formulation. Karen has worked on projects across a variety of business sectors; from Blue Chip multi nationals to owner managed small businesses. Examples of recent projects include: Coaching GPs to help NHS England with employee retention; Designing a selection process for a number of senior roles in a financial organisation; Designing and evaluating a competency framework for a large charity; Designing a development centre as part of a talent management programme in a University and Conducting psychology assessments to aid in the selecting of Permanent Secretaries for a government department. She is an excellent coach and facilitator and has worked with Fairway on many projects over the years.
Peter Fennah

Peter is an executive coach who specialises in coaching leaders through role transitions. He specialises in facilitating leaders to become consciously agile in their leadership repertoire and helping leaders reconfigure their core strengths to create new success strategies. He has 16 years executive education lecturing experience with Cranfield School of Management and has designed and delivered talent development programmes with RBS, Barclays Corporate, Mott MacDonald and the UN, etc. in addition to teaching over 6,000 international MBAs.   

Peter is both a Chartered and Registered Occupational Psychologist holding two Masters degrees in Psychology and Organizational Psychology, a Diploma in Performance Coaching and has completed a programme on Managed Change. He is an accredited executive coach with the Association of Professional Executive Coaches & Supervisors (APECS).
Adi Forman CPsychol

Adi is an expert facilitator and organisation development consultant with extensive experience in the areas of leadership development and organisational change. She is a BPS chartered Occupational Psychologist, and also has an MA in Systems Psychodynamic Consulting from the Tavistock Clinic. 

Adi started her career in the military as part of a behavioural science research team, before joining Ford Motor Company as an internal OD and Change consultant. Since 2006 she has worked independently as a leadership facilitator and coach across a range of industry sectors, globally. 

Adi brings a deep theoretical understanding of the psychology of individuals, groups/teams and organisations, which combined with her practical experiences and honest insights makes her highly credible with all levels of seniority. She builds long-term partnerships and is valued by her clients for her acute attentiveness to what is present in the room, and her supportive yet challenging style of engagement.
Neil Scott

Neil began his career as a rehabilitation psychologist before moving to the Cabinet Office as an assessment psychologist, specialising in diversity and equal opportunities. Whilst at the Cabinet Office, and subsequently as Director of Product Development for Capita RAS and then as an independent consultant, Neil has married his research and statistical analysis skills with a concern to ensure fairness and representation in occupational assessment and development. 
He has worked widely in the public and private sectors, principally in the UK and Ireland and his clients have included the Metropolitan Police Service, Home Office, Ministry for Justice, HMPPS, Public Appointments Service (in Ireland), An Garda Síochána and the Northern Ireland Policing Board.

Neil’s PhD was on the impact of using psychometrics on diversity in the UK Civil Service and he has lectured in Advanced Statistics (for undergraduates and post-graduates to PhD level) at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
